Looking for answers? Maybe they’re here.
When are you open?
We are open Tuesday through Friday, 11AM to 6PM, and Saturday 9AM to 3PM.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! We are happy to provide gift cards for any dollar amount you choose.
Do you accept returns?
No, we don’t take returns. All sales are final, and we’ll do our best to help you choose the perfect thing!
What kind of books do you sell?
We offer a mix of genres curated to suit the interests of our community. On our shelves and tables you’ll find fiction and non-fiction options for all ages. We sell new books only, no used.
If you’re looking for something that’s not in our physical store, you might find it in our online bookshop, for direct delivery to your home or office.
Or, we will gladly reach out to our network of publishers and distributors to special order for you. At a minimum, we order every Saturday and generally receive books the following Tuesday.
To get us searching for the book you need, please fill out this easy peasy request form.
What about children’s books?
Of course we have children’s books! They live in a sweet corner of the shop where little ones can play while grown-ups browse.
We occasionally offer events for kids, too. Imagine story time around one of the shop’s beautiful fireplaces! It’s so much fun!
Do you take used books?
No, we’ve decided to stick with new books.
Can I use your space for events or photo shoots?
Yes! Please contact Beth to ask about using our space outside of business hours. The bookstore makes a beautiful backdrop for parties and photos. We even hosted an engagement!
For private, non-shopping events, we ask for $150 for the first 2 hours and $50 for each additional hour.
Anthology members at the Author and Storyteller level get to host an after-hours event in our bookshop once a year, free of charge. Maybe you should join!
I’m a local author. Will you sell my books?
We’d love to meet you and see what you’ve written! Our local author section is already stocked with several works by creative people like you. We have mysteries, histories, poetry, and some super-fun children’s books.
Please email us to schedule a time when you can drop by the bookstore for some show and tell.
Are you hiring?
Not at the moment, but we’re always looking for volunteers! Our aim is for Anthology to become a true collective, where community members actively support our mission and drive and deliver events, programs, and outreach.
Our volunteers are organized into “departments,” including:
- Marketing & Sales
- Children & Youth
- Events & Activism
- Writing & Creativity
- In-Store Support.
Interested? Please email Beth to introduce yourself!
