At last, Geneseo has a bookstore again! I’m so excited to create this little haven in my hometown. Come on in and treat your imagination to a feast of good stories and fascinating friendships!

Beth was born and raised in Geneseo and enjoys strong roots and ties in the community. After 30-some years away, she’s thrilled to be home, right where she belongs.

As an entrepreneur and communication consultant, she guides leaders and businesses to find and tell their stories.

Now, she’s excited to share this expertise in her hometown. Through Anthology, she’s eager to curate a collection of books and events that will stoke conversations, spark curiosity, and stimulate creativity.

I love matching readers with stories. Books can be an escape to an imaginary land or a way to learn more about a subject that piques your curiosity. Come visit, so we can make these connections together!

Jim grew up on Chicago’s south side, made a career and life in the western suburbs, and spent more than 35 years leading sales teams in the food industry.

When the last of 6 kids finished high school, Jim’s casual web search turned up a beautiful Victorian for sale in Geneseo, just footsteps from the historic downtown. He convinced Beth it was time to relocate.

Turns out, Jim feels most at home in a small, rural town. He wants every guest to find that same sense of welcome and comfort at Anthology.
